fake logs/driftwood and rocks?

Anyone have luck with fake driftwood/logs and rocks? I found a site that carries them, and after my bad luck with real driftwood (rotting/raising ammonia) i might like to try the fake stuff! However I didnt know if my snails would strip the paint, if they chip a lot or if there are any other issues with them..

Pros & cons.

Its quite a bit more money so id just rather be sure before purchasing.

I have the OSI fake driftwood and it has been holding up well. Nothing chipping or paint coming off. I bought mine from Amazon but DrFosters also carries them. Pretty close to the real thing.

Only thing I've found without any sharp places was stuff by underwater galleries. It's all ceramic and they have some amazing stone stuff. They have some fake driftwood too but it's not my fav look.

I have one piece by Osi but haven't used it yet as it does have a few rough spots.. It's not a piece I've found online so idk where it came from I bought from my lfs.
