of the 3 heaters...

Which would you choose?

I'm wanting to get adjustable heaters for my fish, even though my preset ones are working well. My male is going to be upgraded to a 5 gallon, and prefers warmer water than my female, so I'm only going to get one adjustable for him to start with and see how it does.

You can do 50w in that size.

50w won't be too much for a 5 gallon tank?

Nope. All my 5gs have 50w. Currently all have Aqueon Pro too but I've used the other.

Is this one similar to the pro? It doesn't say pro on it.

No that's their non pro line and I've had really hard time with them. They wouldn't keep temp at all and kept swinging wildly and then overheating. They got the Jager one there: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...AvailInUS%2FNo

Is there a certain store you want to buy from?

ETA: Ew nvm they only sell as low as 75w.. wonder why.

Yeah, I saw that. I was hoping to go with a store that lets me do bill me later as I need the heater, but don't have the money this very second. I'll check petco's website soon.

I use the hydor, and wholeheartedly recommend it. Keeps my boy at a toast 81, and keeps my 10G at a balmy 77
