My brother's friend's little brother overfed Perry! My brother's friend asked if he could feed Perry a flake so I said "Only one." So he fed one and his little brother just took some* (a lot) and dumped it in there! I couldn't get it out and Perry ate it all!! I was really steamed, mad and I told him to get out and he didn't so I pushed him out. I closed the door and locked it. I looked at Perry and she was severely bloated. I planned on not feeding her but she was lying on the gravel. I thought she was going to die! I said goodbye to Perry and I started to cry. After a little while I couldn't see Perry so I thought she was dead. It turns out Perry was hiding and her stomach was more bloated. Right now, Perry is lying on the gravel and her stomach is a little bloated. What should I do? Will she die?
Epsom salt. Get it up to 3-5 teaspoons per gallon. What temperature is the water at? Raise it to about 80-82, and administer the epsom salt (pre-dissolved). She'll have to poop it out, unfortunately. And epsom salt helps with that, along with the warmer water. Faster her for 2-3 days.

I'm sorry I don't have Epsom salt and I'm not allowed to use any money.
Yikes... Okay, what do you have on hand? What size is the tank? And what temperature is it at? Do you have an adjustable heater?
If she will, put a mirror up to her or jar a male and float him in her tank. That always seems to get mine pooping :)
I have table salt. The tank is 1.5 gal since mom wouldn't let me get 2.5. It is 72-75 degrees. My heater is not adjustable but it is made especially for bettas. Again, I can't buy a male so I'll try putting a mirror.
1.5 is fine :) I would recommend though perhaps looking for a heater that will bring it to 78-80, as 75 is "alright" but not ideal.
Table salt won't work, unfortunately. The best thing you can do right now is fast Perry for a few days and see if you can set some bottles of hot hot water around the tank overnight... Just to raise the temperature.
