But I'd probably cap it at maybe 25
I agree, but for some reason AqAdvisor is going haywire and saying that he can fit 39 girls in it! D:

Your sorority is gorgeous! I agree with adding some floating plants, otherwise it looks perfect.

I have 9 girls and 1 baby (in a breeder box)and 3 otos in my 29g, and Aqadvisor says I can still add more fish...I want to add cories and some kuhli loaches, and who knows...maybe another female or two. If you have the right filter and time to do extra water changes, why not add more?!

I actually have a 55g tank in my garage right now...it used to house garter snakes and I have no idea if it'd hold water. I'd love to see it hold fish...someday. :)

Well If all of them werent giant then I would say up to a max of 22. But I just did 55 divided by 2.5. 2.5" being the max size. But if all of them are 3" the max would be about 18 girlies. But it's very common for people to say 2 gallons of water per girl. Which would give you 27 or so.

IMO 3 more or less wouldn't make too much of a deal from 17 fish.

Your tank looks great btw!

Do you have plakat in the tank? I heard they are the most agressive so I was just wondering if they could be fine in a sorority tank

Edited: Never mind, i just read your video description. But does anyone know if a female plakat could join a sorority tank?
