Does this even makes sense if i'm cycling my 21 gallon for about more than a month and i told you that this morning i tested the water for ammonia and nitrites and my results showed that i barely have ammonia anymore, like the tested water is nearly cleared and my nitrites showing is a big 0? That good or bad?

The cycle starts with Ammonia (toxic), coming from the fish, fish food and some is found in your tap. Then the beneficial bacteria works to turn the ammonia into Nitrites (very toxic) and finally the Nitrites are turned into the less harmful Nitrates. When you have 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites only nitrates should be present, which need to be removed (with weekly water changes). Nitrates should never go above 40ppm.

If you have your tank set up for over a month, it is probably fully cycled or close to fully cycled, but testing the water parameters is the only way to find out.

Ammonia is the most toxic with Nitrites less Toxic and Nitrates only dangerous in large amounts.

0 everything and ammonia has greatly dropped like i said before, so that good or bad that i still have 0 nitrates?

yes i have 2 live plants that i've put since day 1 the tank has been set up

ammonia a bit less than 0.50 just had a WC and everything else is still 0. Is it normal?
