Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

Can I use an original (unscented) Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean the inside of my tank? I've read elsewhere that it's great for removing algae and stuff, but I just wanna use it for water stains on the inside glass.

Just wondering if anyone has had a bad experience w/ it before I use it...

Needless to say, it worked! I thought of the idea when I realized there were no unopened kitchen sponges in the house, just those!

I am going to try that! I have some of those lying around, and I've never had a use for them!

Perfect! Just make sure they are the original kind or extra strength, the bathroom and kitchen scrubbing ones have chemical additives to them.

I've been told they are okay to use so no worries there.
Actually, someone on here told me to use them to remove the smoke stains on my 2nd hand tank, as long as theres no chemicals in it you are good to go :)

Good to know! I still haven't cleaned out that 10 gallon because I feel like its going to be soooo much work. But I need to get started so I'll get some of these magic clean erasers this weekend and see how they do

Mr. Clean magic erasers do contain chemicals.. it's not just a sponge.. Also the sponge itself disintegrates and breaks down in your tank..
