no one knows for SURE what the origin of petco's King line is, but it's definitely a large-sized plakat form. it's just unsure whether they're bred from giant or half-giant lines, or if their size is due to early stage raising (things such as early separation in larger containers, more food and water quality can all lead to bettas growing a bit larger than normal)

I've heard that they are half-giants or something. Lol my boys will overeat if possible...when I had cories my boy Leo would gorge himself on the bottom feeder rounds...it was horrible lol. I currently feed my two regular-sized boys 2 or 3 Omega One pellets, since they are smaller sized pellets. So would 4 or 5 be good? I only feed them once a day and skip feeding on Fridays or Saturdays.

And @homegrown terror: I hadnt thought of rearranging the decor to have more swimming space (I have some plants in the middle and some on the border). When I go back to school I am planning to clean all the plants anyway because they are yucky haha. So I'll rearrange then (:

thanks for the clear up, my boy is closer to 4 in that 3 1/2 he is a BIG boy

I anticipate him being big lol I think he will definitely make the tank look "fuller" lol
