it's also great for cuts and scrapes. It's a bit of an anti-septic.

just make sure there's none on your hands when you handle any fish stuff, tea tree oil is notorious for destroying betta's labyrinth organs.

I Love tea tree oil. I have a book on different uses for Tea Tree Oil and have found lots of good uses for it.
I have a feeding tube, due to gastroparesis, and found that using a mixture of tea tree oil and Aquaphor ointment helps reduce rashes and soreness around the feeding tube site.

Except bettafix does more harm than good to bettas, whereas tea tree oil can actually help people.

It's not new, been around for decades I think.

Tea tree oil is used in a lot of skin care products, shampoos, hand soaps, toners, etc.... TTO has been around for a very long time. Every couple years a company will add TTO into their new line of products and claims it's a new cure-all in their promotions/ads.

Just like with all soaps & oil. Keep it out of your eyes.

If you have acne, the ONLY time you should touch your face is during CLEANSING or & application of moisturizer.

Also buy 12 pillow cases (white) & change them out with a freshly laundered pillow case every 24-48 hours. I recommend white because you can use bleach on your pillowcases & towels to kill any acne causing bacteria that regular detergent might miss.

Same tip for towels. Use white towels & don't dry your face with a towel that wasn't washed with bleach.

Try out the pillowcase thing for 2-3 weeks & you should notice a improvement in your complexion in about 14 days.
