General disease/medication question

Hi... I read this section almost daily.. and it has taught me a LOT. which will in turn help me keep my two guys healthy. My question is.. what medications do you recommend I get a hold of now, just to have on hand if a problem arises. This way if/when it happens, I won't have to order it and wait to do any treatments. Also.. do they have fairly long shelf lives? Since I am doing it as a precaution, and don't know if I will need it anytime soon (hope not)..

I also read a lot of threads where IAL is recommended as a natural treatment. Is this something I should also have on hand?

What online stores/sources do you guys use for all these meds?

I was given some IAL and it did seem to help when my fish got clamped for no discernible reason. Also I will suggest AQ salt. I have seen turning up the temp as part of treatments. Perhaps Stress Coat. All these are just general helps.

Thank you.. I do have Aquarium salt and Epsom salt, as well as Stress coat. I do not have any IAL as of yet - I may get some to have on hand though. Maybe it could help with my tail biter?

Some people find that IAL helps to cure tail-biters, others have no luck, but the IAL do help prevent infection so they are really nice to use long term with a tail biter.

This is the lady I normally get mine from, and right now this is a good price with free shipping to start out and see if you and your fish like them.
