Oh my goodness, it really was too. I don't think he was expecting the little guy to stare at his finger and then just suddenly lunge at it!

Hehe we'll see, he said it didn't hurt. Maybe next time we can stick a piece of food to his finger xD

It was soo funny. Next time I'm gonna get video of it. He's such a funny little guy. He's starting to fill out too, doesn't look so scrawny like when we brought him home.

I miss that. My first betta would swim up and get all excited when I came over to his tank and do a little wiggle for food. My current betta Albus shows no interest in me what so ever. I can't seem to get his attention for food. He just kind of hides in his plants. Eventually I get tired of waiting for him to swim out and just drop a couple pellets him. Even then he just won't even eat them. He lets them float around forever first. I got the one betta that doesn't seem to be interested in food.

Hahahaha, it's so funny how he lunged at your husband's fingers! XD

It is so fun to feed them! ^^ I usually get my boy's attention by shaking the food container in front of his tank. He'll see it wherever he is and swims towards the container and watches intently as I open it. Once he sees the food inside he starts swimming to the surface while doing his little dance XD

I've actually gotten him to feed the betta a couple of times (he likes hearing him chew the food). My profile picture is my little Alacrity :3 Love this little guy.
