yea body shape is a female to me too. But best to find out his take him out put him in a 1 gal tank or so and see if he builds a bubble nest that will determined for sure

It is possible, but very unlikely, that a male can reamin docile with females. One of my "females" turned out to be a VT male and I never would of suspected if his fins didn't keep growing. He flares and chases but thats about it and the girls are seem OK with him, no stress stripes, clamped fins, ect. Most amazing of all, no nipped fins and they have been togther a year

Sorry, the videos didn't help me and I agree with Tikibirds in that-if you are not seeing any problems among the Betta-leave them for now-sometimes an odd male will be fine along with a bunch of females long term.

Thanks. I am gonna keep watching them. I might put them in 1 gallon containers for a couple of days to see if they make a bubble nest.
