Netflix vs Hulu?

Which is better and why? What's the differences?
We are planning to cancel our cable so I have to choose.

I honestly can't say anything about Hulu, I live in Canada and years ago it wasnt available to Canadian IPs....but that might've changed.

I do use Netflix all the time tho. Thng is, Netflix is $7ish a month, but it's a gamble if there's stuff you want to watch or not. Nothing terribky new most of the time, but a really big selection, including cable series as well as good movies.

Bad news is the same deal - you never know what you're going to get, and they don't update frequently.

If Canada doesn't get Hulu than that makes my choice a lot easier! o.o

Yea, just found a new article from August 2012 saying it's still blocked, and will probably stay that way since it's something to protect the company. Oh well!

I only have the internet version of netflix, so I don't get dvd's in the mail.
Alot of it is either US or UK Tv shows. I think they have a contract wth Disney now because many of the movies I am seeing are older disney movies like Dumbo, ect. The do have some new stuff like THOR but nothing super modern. They had a contract with Starz but when it ended, alot of the newer movies seemed to go with it.

Hulu is better for tv shows... netflix formovies, so they compliment each other. I use strongVPN, which gives me an IP address from the U.S., so I can watch both from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

There are a bunch of free websites you can also watch things feom. Wwitv.com is one of them and wiziwig.tv for sports - are just two of the sites I use. My recommendation is to do a trial run for a month before you cut your cable to see if online only would work for you.
