My new boy! <3

My fiance picked this guy up for me and really lucked out on him, he was bred by the wonderful people at bettascapes (polukoff's farm) we promised the breeders that we would send pictures of his progress, so here he is, moved in for about 2 days now...

Introducing, Rostropovich!

He's a black HM (a combo of a melano and a orchid I think as he has both a tad bit of red and a tad of blue, but you can't really tell because the black is so powerful) with little to no iridescence and a skyhawk dorsal <3 so beautiful!!

He's one good looking Betta. This is my new HM. I got him at the local pet store today! His name is Chuck Norris. I had to set up a third aquarium today!

I love the fin shape. Never really considered black in a betta, but he pulls it off well!
