Meet my new bud Orpheus!

After the death of my old betta Alpha a week ago, I decided to get myself a new little halfmoon boy. After looking at the other fish in the pet store, he was the only one playfully swimming up, looking at me, and flashing his tail, so I decided to buy him. He's a cute little guy, and he was shy for the first few days, but now he's a voracious eater who will do anything for food. He is simply adorable, especially that cute light blue on his mouth!
These are pics I took when I put him into his tank!
He has a bit of fin rot going on (if you can see the little tears in his tail), but I've gotten it under control now and it has stopped and is starting to recover.

He is a beauty and my Betta Perseus has the same color lips love them !!!

He is a gorgeous one. >w< I noticed that he's still colouring up since he is a young, small betta and I'm now seeing that there's some nice shades of green showing up on his body and tail. I'd love it if he greened up more to tie in with the lovely blue shades he has on him! :D

And aw, is that Perseus in your icon, Perseusmom? He is a little cutie. :3 Love it when these little guys have the coloured lips. Its almost like they're saying "hey, here's my mouth so feed me!"
