i may be wrong but ur fish may be a 2-3 year old , y i say so is couse breader cant get all the fry to grow at the right speed , even me ,so a mix dait may be best for him right now

He wasn't quite full grown when I got him. He grew a bit, not too much, after I got em. I'd say he is about 1.5 inches not counting the fins. So I really have no idea how old he is.

You can't use salt with live plants.

I think you just need to be patient. Plenty of people are replying to the other thread. Making two means people respond ignorantly without all the info and you'll have a hard time getting a complete fully informed response.

Well sorry. I didn't know there was a rule to how many post we can make about the same thing. I am just worried about my fish and trying to get all the input possible. Ignorant or not. I can tell the difference.

You see how your's belly is white? Thats how Lil Sano's belly is, but he has scales like that on his face. But he also has shiney copper scales too.
