My cat seems to be fine, thank you very much.
And it's not clinically severe either. I just wanted something meditative to watch and enjoy.

Well then it shouldn't have gotten as bad as it has with the fish, again I just don't understand...and like everyone else here I say we have all left you with great advice but we can't change your mind about how you treat your animals. If you want to leave them as is...well when they die I can only say you have been warned.

If you return one and get the remaining one a heater then bonus points for you.

But most of all this forum is a place for people to learn about fish because they love them as pets...if you don't see your fish as pets or things you want to love and properly care for them I am afraid you came to the wrong place.

I bid you a good day.

I have not seen any of that in this thread. I have seen people giving you advice that that focuses on keeping your fish safe and healthy.

I suggest you take a break, then come back and re-read the thread to view the advice.

Walmart and Petsmart have inexpensive heaters. (Not sure about Petco, since there isn't one near me.) When you return the gravel, net, decorations and 2nd fish, the refund you receive should be more than enough to purchase a heater for your tank.

Petco is having a $1 a gallon sale.. $1 to save your fish isn't a whole lot...

I am going to return my fish now. I can't return the gravel/decorations/net because they were all opened and I don't have the original packaging. Therefore, I can't get a heater.
