Anyone know about Killiefish?

Well, my girlfriend and I attended a fish auction this past weekend. I was just there to get a few cory cats and a couple plants for my 10 gallon. She was restocking her 2 big tanks and ended up buying a lot of stuff just because it was going for pretty cheap. Long story short, I'm now the proud owner of 2 killiefish (epiplatys togolensis). I don't really know anything about them though. I've currently got them housed in a 1 gallon tank with some gravel and a small filter. Any information on taking care of them would be greatly appreciated because I haven't found much online so far.

i know that the are top level fishes.

I'm pretty sure they need 10-20 gallons. I can't remember how they do with other top level fish, but I think they are community...but don't quote me on it. They are tropical so temps 72-80. I haven't owned them so I don't know as much as I should.

what kind of killifish?

Epiplatys togolensis is the name on the bag, although that seems to be maybe an older classification for them.

Definitely talk to littlebettafish, she has kept and bred killifish for years...

Well, I ended up moving them into my ten with Walter and the tetras. I was most worried that they weren't eating, but I think they got the hint that those floating things were food after seeing the tetras going crazy for them. They're probably only gonna be there for a few weeks, so it looks like everything is working out for now.
