Help! Weird growth

A weird growth appeared this morning on my betta. It seems to be bubbly like and it's between his gills, under his chin sorta. No clue what this is. Help.

It's brown, looks like a piece if his food. It's hard to get a picture because where it is.

I'm glad it's gone, but sometimes you just need to be patient..

Big thing I notice from your list is your tank is way too hot.. need to set it down between 26-27C
