Bubbles on rim not grouped together?

So I know about betta's grouping a bunch of bubbles together to prepare for mating, however my lil buddy is blowing bubbles around the rim? So I have lines of bubbles around the whole bowl. Is this normal too? Does it it mean anything?

How long have you had the bowl? How big is it?

You can place dry leaf so that they will make it as a medium for placement of bubble.
Try that.

it ok if he dose that is it his first time even older males do that from time to time like right after water changes some time the start doing it like an hour after but if u want him to put them all 1 place there r a few things u can do 1 take a clear plastic spoon and move the bubbles to 1 place or add a leaf to his tank give it a try and see wat happens next

That's perfectly normal, some do that, and some don't. If you have things on the surface of the water, he may make them around those, but if not, he'll just continue to do what he does. There's nothing wrong with him at all.

The reason I ask about tank size and how long you've had it, is that my small tank .5G tank had bubbles from still water. They just covered the entire rim. Once I moved my betta into a larger tank with a filter, the bubbles weren't such a big deal. Now I can see precisely where his bubble nests are.
