Good gravel vacuums?

I'm looking to get a new gravel vacuum for my 5 gallon because the one I have is too slow. Does anyone have any suggestions for good brands/models? Thanks!

I simply use a manual siphon hose like the one here...

This one works great for me and I like the speed, Im not sure if it's quite what you're looking for. Good Luck!

Do you use the Lee's one?

I'm torn between that brand and Aqueon. I have a Top Fin one and it is too weak.

I have an Aqueon siphon and it works great. I just use a turkey baster to get the suction started.

Aha! I do use the aqua one! I couldn't find it online so I didn't link to it. I like the speed of it it may be a tad slow if you're planing on only using it to drain the tank but if you're using it to vacuum the gravel it works great with perfect speed.

And using the turkey baster to get it started it brilliant. Im ashamed I didn't think of it sooner , I always end up spitting out tank water .

Does the Aqueon siphon suck the poo out well without sucking the gravel (and gosh forbid) the fish with it? And what size do you have?

I have one...the smallest size one, I believe for 1-5 gals. I like it, although mine seems to suck up my gravel :-/ it works well though! And in my opinion, it's really easy to use. No turkey baster or mouth to get it started!

At first I had problems with it sucking up the gravel, but once I got the hang of it, it only picks up the poo. Just don't put it too close to the gravel and it should be fine. It will still pick up 2 or 3 pieces of gravel but I poor the old water on my plants so it doesn't mater for me. I think I have the medium but I don't really remember; I got it a while ago.
