Yea his stripes are pretty thin looking!
If he's that old it could be that he's a species you don't see anymore, or maybe as they age the stripes thin (a lot of fish change as they get that old).

He doesn't appear to have any spotting, but the closest I see him being are Pangio Myersi or Pangio Kuhlii

Thinning stipes with age doesn't seem to be a bad conclusion.

Hmmm, well I'm sure he'll get along with whatever loach friends he gets.
Always thought this one heater on the Goldie tank was broke but finally see the light on. Pulled so much hornwort that it looks empty now.

Oh jeez Olympia. I worked with a girl who was undergoing tests to determine what kind of foods she was allergic to with her IBS and she had to eat foods for a week that made her terribly sick and then foods a little easier to eat and then finally al gluten free. She suffered for a few weeks on those test diets. Poor thing. She was also a bit of a drama queen and loved getting attention for her IBS stories. So....

I hope you figure yours out soon! It wouldn't hurt to start eating gluten free anyway. You know you better than a doctor.

Well i'm not ~deathly~ allergic but allergies can up and change. i was naughty and ate one u.u if i get sick then you guys know why.

she made them because i brought home super cheap candy from work (actually, godiva on 90% clearance) and they thought they were gross, so she made them into cookies.
