Snail food -_-

[Artist with a betta]

My betta Vincent is obviously a glutton. Not only will he gladly gobble up his pellets but will try and unsuccessfully eat the snail's algae wafer . Should I be concerned about this or is he just being a little butt eating the snails food? FYI I haven't been able to think of a snail name...


Also on a completely unrelated topic is it just me or does this look like a surprised cyclops to any one else.

Yes you really dont want him to eat those they can make him bloated. Maybe try dropping them in late at night after lights out and your Betta is sleeping.

Okay as far as feeding snails they aren't too bad. You can turn off the light at night and wait maybe 10-20 mins for your betta to go to sleep and sneak in and feed the wafer to your snail.

If that proves difficult you can cup him and feed him that way. Feeding snails is so much easier than anything else. My pleco squirms away so I've only seen him eat one wafer ever. The goldfish noms it usually.
