peaceful fish to stir sand?

I finally decided to switch to sand and I need some peaceful fish that would stir my sand and do fine in my sorority tank and also wont bother my cories.
I heard about mts but it seem that they propagate really fast. I need something small that won't add too much of a bioload.

Some loaches would be your best bet.

Oto's and algea eaters dont burrow, so they would be useless in your sand stirring quest.

Oh well you have a big selection, like small eel types, loaches and types of catfish. Im doing an unconventional aquatic animal for mine.

You could also get some of those freshwater clams!
they burrow in the sand and then sift through it for any uneaten waste. A seller on AB in the invertebrates section usually has them.

I posted a thread about those, but it seems like is reallyhard to care for them.

Ooh, I knew there was a thread on them but didn't spend too much time reading it.
Still, I say if you can get them cheap enough, they would w worth a shot.
Otherwise MTS or loaches
