Weird question about cave size...

So....I have this ceramic hiding cave for my betta that I LOVE! (And he likes it just fine too, lol). I want to use it for many bettas that I have in the future. The only thing I am concerned about is if a betta can comfortably turn around in the back of it, because I know they like to face outward in their caves (at least mine does).

It is about 1 1/2 inches wide in the back.

SO, would a normal adult male betta be able to comfortably turn around in a 1 1/2 inch wide space?

I don't see why not. He's not going to get stuck as far as I can tell. Looks like a very safe cave to me.

Thank you :). I feel like everything about that cave is perfect except that one thing has been bugging me.

Yeah, I do the same thing, always worry when I put something new in the tank. I have to make sure there's no sharp edges, the openings aren't too small, ect. But that one looks good :)

So are bettas normally able to make pretty sharp turns without straining themselves?

I've a similar one, perhaps even smaller and my betta's doing fine with it!

Not a very clear photo, but by the bottom right corner. It's cube-shaped and the walls are thick so there isn't really alot of space in there. But I've seen my betta squeeze around even tighter spots (e.g. between this cube and the right glass pane of the tank) so I'm not worried

I mean, they can pretty much make a "U" shape with their bodies with out straining themselves, right?
