Another stupid question from yours truely :p
What exactly is "curing"? The directions on my aquarium safe silicone say to wait for 45 minutes for it to dry unless you are using it for aquariums, then your supposed to let it "cure" for 48 hours. I'm using it to fill the hole on a terracotta pot. It's been about 60 hours since I applied it.. Does anyone wait a little longer than the directions say? I'm just wondering if it needs to sit longer since the silicone I put in the hole is very thick. I feel like this is a dumb question and its probably totally safe since its been 48 hours :p
Also, I've already rinsed the pot once with hot water then let it completely dry before putting the silicone on it. Anything special I need to do to clean it before I add it to the tank, or is rinsing it again in hot water fine?
