Question Is this a good food for bettas?

I have a jar of food from a betta I used to have a long time ago. It's called HBH Appetite-Stimulating Formula Betta Bites. They are in the form of really small pellets. One of my bettas really likes it, but I haven't fed it to my other because he has bloating problems so I thought sticking to betta flakes for him would be best.

pellets are better for bettas than flakes, especially those with bloating problems. That being said, if the food is not too old (you did say a long time ago, I would say if it's older than a year, then it's lost most of its nutritional value and is no longer good for your fish), and it is mostly fish proteins and very little filler such as wheat, oats, soy, etc, than I would say it's good for both fish.

Does it list the ingredients? What are the first 4?

Also, is there an expiration date on the bottle?

There is no expiration date but I know it's been several years since it was bought. The first four ingredients are fish meal, fish oil, blood meal, and hydrolyzed feather meal

That's not a very good food IMO considering it doesn't haw any actual Fish ingredients as the first 4 other than "fish meAl" which is vague

I think most people here will recommend New Life Spectrum Betta pellets. Omega One seems to be popular too. I feed them both to my bettas.
