Meet my NEW Betta, Bubba...question?? Too soon after passing of 1st Betta??

Hey, everyone I would love you all to meet my BRAND NEW BETTA FISH, BUBBA!! I know I have posted in the past about my first Betta, I had him for a good 8 mths. until his passing January 16. I still Mr. Blubblub's food and vase, and I really was missing him :( Sooo I broke down and bought Bubba at the same Petco. I did ask questions about what could have killed the prior fish, it could be from over feeding him to changing his water too much! So if anyone could give me some tips on how to keep Bubba ALIVE feel free to share with me! He looks so much like Mr. Blub Blub I know but I'm happy :)

A bigger tank would be a good start more room for swimming in always helps for a longer life. :) He is a very pretty blue crown tail too.

Definatly get him a larger tank and heater, that'll help keep him healthier and let him live longer

well, actually I know the picture the bowl looks small but it's really a tall glass vase, but yes I HAVE been seriously thinking about getting a filtered tank so I'm not allways changing the water because personally that's what I think happened last time, I was changing the water too much and probably shocked him...but anyway if thanks for that suggestion. Once I get some funds I'd like to get the ones that petco sells, I'd lighted one would be cool, yeah, I'd like bubba to last a little longer too. Also how how should I feed him a couple pellets every other day? think I fed the last one too much maybe? :(

The heater you can get a small one from walmart fairly cheaply and it will help with water temperature changes and when it gets to cold during fall and winter days.

It depends what pellets you feed him. I give my fish 3 pellets once a day and fast them once a week.
