Update on fishy #6

After losing 5 bettas within a week, I nearly gave up. I was convinced that it was due to poor health from the breeders that supply PetSmart. I am now fully convinced since I got one from PSP, and he's survived nearly three weeks! He's a beautiful blue/red CT. I need to get a good picture of him. I even got a brand new 5 gallon tank, and started it as an NPT. I had named him Glimmer, but my 8-year-old changed it to Rainbow due to his coloring. We're ecstatic that he's doing so well. Even our guppies from PetSmart are doing well. She has them in her room.

We would love for you to post any photos of the fish. Glad you have had them for as long as you have now. Hope they stay with you longer.

Glad that you didn't give up, and glad that your new fella is doing well. And yay for guppies. The kids keep asking if we can add some to the Sorority/Community tank I just got set up (The answer being no)

Thank you! I am having a difficult time uploading another one where I caught him with the flash, and he's iridescent. Like a turquoise almost. Looks gorgeous! I have to try again when I get home. he is really loving his new home. I need to take a new picture of his home, as he now has some new decor and plants.

He is gorgeous!!! I hope you will have him for long time. Just be careful with filter make sure it not too strong for him. I just read someone's betta stuck in the filter. If his tank up to 5 gall you can just do 1-50 and 1-100% water changes. Just make sure you acclimate your betta properly to the new water.
