Can I add Potassium & Maganese liquid fert?

Hi,

Do I need ferts (Potassium and Maganese) to help my plants? Or are they bad for freshwater AQ?

Hi, can you explain "weighing the ferts"?
Did you mean having the knowledge to be able to to figure out how many mL to put in for each chemical according to my plants' needs as in a doctor knowing how to write up a prescription ?
I was looking at individual liquid ferts and the instructions were to use one pump for potassium, etc.

What are your tank specs and setup? I honestly don't believe you will need to go into EI dosing... but here is something for you to read if you really want.

For me, I have a bottle of liquid macros (NPK) and a bottle of liquid micros
which I use to dose my pico tanks.

but for most purposes, seachem flourish is adequate. why did you ask about Manganese and Potassium?

I have wisteria, hygrophilia, and some crypts.
The wisteria has yellow spots and and yellow new leaves edges (Potassium & Meganese deficiency??).
The Hygrophilia has deep green leaves (Phosphate deficiency??)

I have Seachem Excel, but I am not sure if it is helping with the situation.

1 Betta VT, 1 Apple Snail (1"), 1 Amano/Japanese Algae Eating Shrimp

Plants:
Wisteria (floating & planted), Hygrophilia (planted), Crypt(planted), Pgymy Chain Sword(planted), Marimo Moss Ball, Marimo Moss on driftwood.

My tank, but Fred is in QT, so no betta currently in tank. Yellowing are the ones in the far left end of the photo, the floating Wisteria, and where the yellow apple snail is (near the heater). The hygrophilia around the heater have since turned darker green.

I recommend you to get a bottle of seachem flourish and dose a few times a week and see if the situation improves :) do you feed the snail?

once or twice a week with 1 piece of algae rounds, shared with amano shrimp.
