Please help!!!

My Beta fish Sharky is acting very very strange!!!

I have had sharky for about a month, I love him very much, I just cleaned his tank, allowed in to sit with my heater in it for about an hour so it was the absalute perfect teprature like always, It was also time for feeding, so I put in some food, He was so very heatlty, usrally when i put him back in his tank he swims around a little, eats and swims around his plant and hides behind it and play peek a boo (he swims out and then back behind his plant, its funny) But when I put him back in his tank he swam a little, like normal then it was almost like he sank to the bottem, it almost looked as if he was attacking the bottem of the tank, he was flipping around and swiming funny, Im so scared to go back to my room and see him dead, please someone help me, I don't want sharky to die!!! Whats wrong with him!!!!

Did you remember to put water conditioner in when you did the water change ?

Either the water was not conditioned enough for him or the temperature was a shock on him. How is he acting now?

Yes I did, I made sure I put some in

It's the same temrature I always have it at, he has never done this before, I put a cap full of the water conditioner in like it says of the bottle and like I always do, I never change my routine :S

I am really scared to see him dead, I havn't gone in there yet :(

With such a spasmadic reaction so suddenly to a water change there mist have been something wrong with the water. Hmm, maybe some work on the pipes or something. A FULL cap of conditioner?!? Which kind do you use? Mine takes 2.5 mL for the 5g tank and that's like a large drop in the whole cap.
I honestly don't know what to tell you, you need to take a deep breathe and go in and look, otherwise we cannot assess his behavior.

I don't have a label on the container anymore( My little sister like's to take the labels off everything) but the cap is rather small. Okay, he seams fine now, his swiming about more like normal *whew* But I still have no idea what happend, maybe it was the watter, or maybe the heater could be malfunctioning and running at a diffrent temprature
