Mystery solved! 7 cories and 1 betta.

I recently posted a thread about 4 dead cories well that number went up and now I have 7 dead corydoras and 1 betta, every time I turned off the lights in will find a dead cory, found 2 cories and 1 betta dead today. The betta had a hole on her belly and the corydoras had no fins and one was missing an eye and part of his head. everything started after I added 3 kuhli loaches to the tank, so I turned out the lights and with a the cellphone flash I started watching the tank and saw the kuhli loaches come out of nowhere and start following a Cory, poor fish got bitten really bad in a matter of seconds, got the cory out of the tank and put him in a separate tank but he died.
I had to remove the decorations and get rid of the loaches, problem solved.

I've never heard or seen that with Kuhlis, that is really weird.

I wonder if there is some sort of imposter fish that people are thinking is a kuhli?
I thought kuhli's were supposed to be peaceful

Yes. They were being fed.

Sometimes they can get territorial or go after other fish to suck off their slime coat. Or they even (no matter how well you feed them) do learn to prey off of smaller fish.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss :( S.I.P. little ones.

Betta is dead. I found her with a hole in her belly.
