female tank with loaches and my males!

And here are my boys in their split tank, Cake and Cake II. Cake is a half moon and Cake II is a double tail. His fins were torn when I got him :(

LOVE the design of your female tank. Very well done!

And the colours of your boys are very interesting! (And I love that they're in front of books.) The best place to be!

Thanks!! I was really obsessed with the tank when i finished it, I couldn't stop looking at it.
My boyfriend tells me I have a very girly taste in male bettas, haha.

Be aware of loaches, they killed 7 of my cories and one betta. Tanks look great.

That femaile tank is great the way you did the contrasting substrates! I may have to borrow that idea.

The only reason the substrate is like that is because my bag of rocks was too small for the whole tank, so when I went back to the pet store I got crafty and grabbed a bag of sand, haha.

It's a 10 right now, the loaches are still babies and their mouths are too small to eat a betta, but when they grow a little more I'm moving them into their own 20. I also try to keep them happy with blood worms, and I currently am breeding snails for them to eat and have a couple ghost shrimp in their too!

I agree. I had a nice betta in a tank with a skunk loach. He suddenly started getting his tail shredded. I moved him and he is doing great. and the loach is doing his job eating snails, but now i cant keep a betta in that tank. Beware.
