Dan's crowntail

Today I bought my first betta for a long time. Not a great lover of the crowns but couldn't pass this guy up something about him caught my eye.

Here is the other male. Don't know what the colours would be called and the real colours have been sort of altered by the camera.

Here's a better picture one that shows his true colour. Been throwing some names around trying to name the two. This is my male and I've decided to call him Agro since he's always flaring either at his mirror image or the male in the next tank. I'm wondering what the colour is called if there is a name to it.

I wasn't a big fan of crowns either till I got the one in my avatar. Now because of his personality he is my favorite.

Me too. I started off with a vt then he passed away, went for another vt. Didn't like the crowns, but then he left me. I was like well .. I'll guess I'll try some thing knew and petsmart at the time had either vt or crown so I went with crown but he wasn't like a random pick he was a stick out love for me, his name was shark just passed away :( and he lived 2 1/2 years which was double the time I had with the two vt previous.
So I hope you get lucky with this guy too!
