Finding a good betta at my wal-mart is usually a hit and miss. I got lucky so far in find a dalmatian, a big ear grizzle and now this guy. Most of the time they are just usually red or blue... And yes, the care is still poor for them as with all the other fishes.

Sadly unless I want to make an hour trip to I am stuck with wal-mart fish. Its the only place really around here to get pet stuff. I'll be getting a heater for him when I take said trip next weekend.

There's nothing wrong with red and blue betas! In fact I tend to be attracted to them the most! >.< Tho mine was picked up at petsmart :P
I love my old crown tail beta and he love me! No mater the common color each one has they all have there own quirks.

Could be a Cambodian but he has some weird coloring.. he has those gold speckles on his tail, his body shimmers green. Fades from purple to like a light blue/turquoise color. Also I noticed he might have some marbling on him. I'm also wondering if he might be a dragon. His scales are very large unlike my other CT and my two VTs.
