Seachem Prime

What are the results of Seachem Prime (freshwater/saltwater chlorine, chloramine, ammonia remover; nitrate/nitrite detoxifier; +slime coat)?

What do you mean "what are the results"? It is a highly recommended product, its all I add to my water when I do a water change other than the occasional ferts.

Seachem prime is a conditioner, and a good one. I use it for all my tanks. It only neutralizes ammonia for 24-48 hours, though.

Ok thanks, just wanted to hear if it was a good product. Not only am I nursing an inflamed gill, I'm much more careful now period of what I goes in the tank after a bad melafix episode.

So Seachem Prime can be used in lieu of a water conditioner/dechlorinator like Aqueon all together?

yes, but would not hurt to add Stress Coat+ for the coating, too

I have mixed Prime and Stress Coat before, but Prime alone is fine, as well.
