My 1st Pet .. :/

Hi im 24 and its sad that this is my first pet but i already love the little guy moving along lol.

Blue Crowntail Betta Male
.3 Gallon Aqua Culture Betta Cube

I asked the sales person at Walmart if this was all that i need and they said yea so silly me took him home then realized he wouldnt eat for 2 days.

He doesnt like Tetrabetta pellets but eats blood worms and betta bites.

Not to mention i live in new England and his tank was freezing did know he was a tropical fish

Now that i have been educated i will be purchasing a 2 gallon hawkeye a heater and a fresh water master kit unfortunately they have to be delivered

Welcome, one thing i learn about walmart associates....they're not the best people to ask about fishes. In fact, it's probably better if you ask a person browsing through the fish isle. One time, I had a guy ask me about his aquarium as i was getting stuff for my goldfish, i probably gave him a 20 minute lecture about everything, lol.

Kind of like babies? no wonder so much women get pregnant, babies are addicting, i think i understand now :D

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm Bryana AKA Bryanacute. I strongly agree as Wal-Mart associates are defiantly not the best to ask. Also, I noticed that you said he doesn't have a heater or filter. Filters aren't always needed, but A heater is always recommended.

i have my room heater on how oscillating in his direction it works for now his tank should be here today and his heater within 5 days
