pump

i just got my betta a little filter. shes in a one gallon, and the filter is rated for three gallon (tetra whisper)

well it fits no problem and my betta still haves lots of space. the thing i need advice/tips with is the pump.

it does buzz a bit and idk if i will be able to sleep at night without doing insane and throwing the tank at my wall.

anyways to cover up/drown the sound?

Check to see if it is vibrating against the tank. If it is you could stuff a cloth between and that would muffle the sound a bit. If not, there's really nothing you can do. I thought the same thing, but you get used to it after a while.

what i think works better than a cloth is filter polyfiber- just a few layers to under the parts that touch the tank will muffle the sound and decrease vibration
