It's really bothersome to know that they sell decorations that are toxic!
Makes me so angry!
I'm glad he's feeling better :)

Hadoken, all this happened last night around 12am my time... I used barely any prime since 5ml treats 50 gals, correct? And so since I have a 5 gal tank, I put a bit in the cap, just under the first thread. Was this ok?

Two drops per gallon. So, I really don't know how the first thread turns out to be. I would suggest getting a dropper next time, though, and only put in ten drops to be 100% sure.
Do you have the larger bottle? If so, I think that the first thread is too much, and I would go back to my previous suggestion about the dropper. I just looked at mine, and I would think that the first thread would be closer to my 20g's requirements, but I may be wrong.

I guess I should've payed attention to what page was loaded. Sometimes I'll get loaded to the middle of a thread and think that's where we are, and then realize that there are actually 6 more pages following the one that I'm on.

Oh, no worries! Thanks for checking on me though! I was shaking, and in tears I was so worried...my fiancÚ thought I was nuts haha. I get attached to animals very easily. :-/ I'm not sure which bottle I have, but I read the directions and it sounded like 1 thread equals to 1 ml, but I didn't put the whole thread of conditioner in it. I will get a dropper though.

Prime wouldn't have caused this though, right? He almost looked possessed...he was trying to swim to me, but every time he moved he would just sink to the bottom and just lay there. I'm so glad I checked on him before I went to bed...

I am aslo facing a situation here.
I have Tiger in a 3 gallon tank. I got him a week back from market. I have changed 50% his water twice during the week. He was perfectly fine till now with no symptoms of any disease or anything. I use dechlorinator. I have a few artificial plants and a small cave like structure inside the tank. I keep the heater settings at around 26 degree Celcius. The tank also has a pump and the filter. I feed him frozen blood worms twice a day. From last 2 days he is always floating at the corner of the tank and not eating anything. today I found him struggling to reach the top of the tank. He isnt eating too. I am very worried about him. I think he is also losing his color.
I dont know where I am going wrong. Kindly help me. I am very worried about him. And PLEASE suggest me what should I do now. Thanks a lot!

Do you feed anything else besides bloodworms?
I normally keep my boy at 28 degrees...
I would also suggest a 100% water change during the week somewhere

I tried to feed him pellets a couple of times. He just doesnt like them at all. And yes today i noticed some cottony thing near his mouth n fins. It doesnt look like an ich to me. Is it some fungal infection? And yes, he's lost his color a lot! I have just kept him in bowl right now and cleaning his tank.
