Only salt for 10 days, if you continually use salt the bacteria that cause fin rot become immune to the salt and it becomes a lot harder to treat I would just stop adding salt and do 100% change at some point in the near future

I salted my 5 gallon tank because my betta had fin rot, that was 7 days ago and he is better now should I do a 100% water change or just keep doing 50 % and stop adding salt untill it is all gone?... I want to avoid doing 100% water changes Thanks!
Go ahead and do a 50% change, no added salt.. then in 3-4 days do a 25%, then in another 3-4 days another 25%, then start your regular water change schedule. The salt will become diluted each change until it's gone in time.
