Hello!
I'm posting this for someone I know who has a 10 gallon tank.
She currently has 1 female betta, and 7 glowlight tetras. The betta's fins are now ripped, so she thinks that the tetras are nipping. Because the tetras might be nippy she's decided to give those to me, and to get something else with her betta. Here are the stocking options she's thought up so far:
6 female bettas. I told her that it could end up a blood bath considering she has a low-moderate planted tank, and not very many other hiding spots.
4 Otos,
3 spotted rasboras,
1 Female betta. I told her that otos do best in groups of 6+, and I'm not sure about the rasboras, though those are hard to find in our area.
6 Panda cories,
3 Endler's,
1 Female betta. I'm wondering if this might be too overstocked?
She wants a small community tank, without tetras, and she can't upgrade. Are any of those okay? If so which is best?
Thanks!
