The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Poalini

So, for my book report, I chose Brisigner by Christopher Poalini, the third book in the Inheritance Cycle. I have to do an oral presentation but the thing is, I can't pronounce half the words he put in there! So, is Eragon pronounced ear-a-gone or EE-ra-gin, or something else totally different? And how would the Agaetí Blödhren be pronounced?! and for the end of my presentation, I would like to say "Atra guliä un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse far rauthr" which means "may luck and happiness follow you and may you be shielded from misfortune."

I won't lie, I have NOO clue about the pronunciation in the books :P

I loveeed the books, but was incredibly disappointed at the ending of the series.. :/

Doesn't it have a guide in the back as to how you pronounce things? I can tell you that Eragon is EH-rah-gon, though. Try watching the movie for help pronouncing things. :)

What Bombalurina said. There's usually a pronunciation guide in the back that will help quite a bit. The elvish might be tougher, but if it's not in the back then just give it your own twist. Say it with confidence and no one will doubt you, and no one can argue if it's not officially stated. Just practice it a couple times until it comes to you easily and it should be fine. Good luck on your presentation, I did one on Eragon back when it first came out! Had a lot of fun with it, too!

Thanks! The guide did help but Atra guliä un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse far rauthr" (which is elvish) is the hardest part. Theres a movie? YAYY!!

OMG the movie was the most horrible film adaptation I have seen of any novel >.< It really is not worth watching...
