Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? Yes, but it is on for a couple hours a day.
Is your tank heated? Yes.
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? He lives with 5 Spotted Cory cats.

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Hikari Betta Bio-Gold and some freeze died blood worms. Often he will also eat the catfish's Hikari Sinking Wafers.
How often do you feed your betta fish? Twice a day.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? Every three days.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? it is usually a 25% water change.
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? API Betta Water Conditioner.

Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? It looks as though his fins aren't as full as the first day I got him, but I'm not entirely sure.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Since he is in a bigger tank, he swims around a lot more. I don't think I've ever seen him flare and cannot get him to do so with a mirror. He uses his hammock or rests at the bottom when tired (in a hiding spot with glass beads).
When did you start noticing the symptoms? Today.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? No.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? No, got him from PetCo.
How old is your fish (approximately)? 1

he looks good to me. I dont see anything like fin rot or tail biting that could be causing you to think his fins are smaller. As long as he is active and eating well I wouldn't worry.

I don't know if anything was wrong or if he was simply stressed, but his fins do look better today an seem to be sticking to his body less.

Do you have plenty of hiding places for him in his new tank? That will help reduce the stress.
