How do I know that my betta's fin rot is gone?

My betta, Champ, has had severe fin rot. He is a twin tail betta and so it's not all the way through his fin, but he has lost a good bit of fin. I did an aquarium salt treatment with 100% water changes each time. I have now slowed down to every 3 days switching his water and adding aquarium salts. I just dont know how to tell if it is gone or not. Can someone help?

Can you post a pic? Do you still see black edges? Are the fins continuing to get shorter? Do you see any new growth, typically white or kind of clear on the edges?

All the black/brown/gray will be gone and you will see new growth.
