10g Stocking Help

Hey guys, I had a couple of 10g tanks lying around since I haven't been spawning bettas and decided to do something with it instead, so I washed it out, clean some gravel and gave it a hardscape.

Now heres the problem, I didn't think about what fishes to add in it, but rather just jumped ahead and set up the tank. I now have a cycling 10g with sponge filter and a heater but no idea what to put in it.

A little help from you guys on deciding what to put in it would help :) how many of the particular species would help out a lot too.

These fish aren't the easiest to find, but here's how I would stock it:
-Trio of Sparkling Gouramis
-8 Pygmy Cories
-and make it planted!

If you want easier fish to find, I'd do:
-6 neon tetras
-1 honey gourami

Or:
-7 Pencilfish
-1 Honey Gourami
