I really want to make a massively long chunky scarf for myself. i may just buy yarn to do it tomorrow. mistake rib seems easy enough.

It was alright. We usually get sheet lightning here and about five minutes after that lightning hit, a big jagged bolt hit not too far from the house across the road from us.

Bit sad as this guy came knocking on our door with a fox terrier looking dog asking if we knew who it was. I didn't and I said he should take it to the vet near us to see if they can find the owners.

We have a main street that divides two councils from each other. It was wearing a tag from the other council so it looks like the poor thing must have crossed the street. It can get extremely busy along that stretch of road so it is fortunate it didn't get run over.

So glad none of our dogs freak out over things like fireworks/thunder. Our previous dog did and it was horrible.

Bekah, mistake rib is easy-peasy! Cast on multiples of 4+3. knit 2, purl 2. Repeat to end of row, end with a purl 1. Repeat that one row.

LBF, I hope someon claims that poor dog. Our neighbor had a dalmatian that freaked over loud noises. During fireworks, he climbed on his doghouse and leapt over the fence. Never saw him again. :( There are these jackets that you can buy now that supposedly calm the dog during thunderstorms though.
