Yeah, it is a very expensive camera. A slightly older model now too.. My dad got it with, I think, two or three lenses in a set for around $900 when it was brand new.

I mean, it takes phenomenal pictures, but as a normal high student with very limited funds, I would never spend that much on a camera. I use to own a Panasonic Lumix( my mother has claimed that one as her own)... Much more affordable and while it doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles the Canon has, it takes fairly great pictures and I was very happy with it.
