Question what type of Betta is this?

I am new to the Betta world and I think he is a HM but im not sure could someone help me out?

Hes either a delta or halfmoon. I'd have to see him in full flare to tell you.
Hes also a dragonscale, Not sure exactly how to term the color though, Cambodian dragonscale maybe?

Stick a mirror next to his tank and when he spreads his fins out see if his tail is a perfect half circle or not. Of its less than half he's delta, if its a full half he's a half moon

Not necessarily, if hm have bad forms then they are bad breeders

even finnage all around. your little guy seems to have a very long anal fin in comparison to his dorsal and caudal..
you really need a picture of him flaring to tell for sure
