Gold betta breeders?

Does anyone recognize where this betta photo comes from? I can't remember which breeder this came from on Aquabid when I took this photo from the site. It's my "someday" betta. . ha ha .. and now I've forgotten who breeds these.

This picture has been all over pintrest and other places lol..

Most likely it's an aquastar71 betta.. not many others sell feather/rose tails so frequently.. especially if you remember whether the price was a $100+ for it.

Nice looking fish, not for breeding, but pretty to look at.

Yes, a good "looked" fish. Definatly not a breeding fish. That pic has been absolutely everywhere, I saw a pet store use it on kijiji lol.

Well I know it's everywhere .. . because I pinned it on Pinterest about a year ago directly from Aquabid, lol. I actually found my original pin and it said "Nicebettas.com" but I don't see any of them available at the moment.

I'm not a breeder but just out of curiosity why is it not a "breeder fish" ?

Extreme rosetail (will produce extremely deformed and unhealthy offspring called x-factors), anal is way to long, dorsal is long, and fins are overall messy.

Oh! That sounds horrible.

So it's not the color that is bad for breeding, just the rosetail type?
