New guy, from Canada

Hello everybody! My name is Jesse, and I'm from Winnipeg.
I'm relatively new to fish-keeping.
We got my son some fish for his second birthday, and a smaller Betta bowl was included with the tank we got. Since I had a Betta when I was younger, I thought it would be fun to get one! I'm working on getting a nice 5 or 10 GAL tank to put my Betta in, but for now he's happy in his little bowl.

This is Birdee my Multi-colored veiltail.



This is my sons "Bikini Bottom" tank.
We had a few pass-aways (1 Algae eater, 1 red finned shark, 1 ghost shrimp, 1 neon tetra, 2 mickey mouse platys, 1 albino african clawed frog)
2 were due to a disease, 2 were a "clash" issue, the frog wouldn't eat, he just didn't take to the tank, and the neon tetra disappeared... I know, weird.
Right now the tank has 2 techno tetras (Strawberry and Blueberry), a clown loach (Baby Buzz), a ghost shrimp, and 1 neon tetra (no name yet).





Right now everybody is happy and healthy, and we're looking to keep it that way!

Make sure you keep up on water changes in that bowl! How big is his tank? You should get at least two more neon tetras, they are schooling fish.

Just keep the little guy warm and change water frequently till you get him a proper home!
BTW.....less rocks will allow for more water volume and right now that's what he needs in that little bowl.

I worked out a deal with a friend, trading my lidless 30 GAL (too big for my place) for his lidded 10 GAL this weekend. Birdee will have a nice tank coming up to the next week or so.

My sons tank is a 10 GAL, currently occupied by 1 ghost shrimp, 1 clown loach, 2 techno tetras, and 1 neon tetra. Is there still room for a couple more neon tetras, or will it become pretty over ran?
