Figured I'd do an official intro

Hi all! I joined the forum last year when I got my first betta, Angus. He's currently my av. I left the forums for a bit and just came back.

I just got my second betta and I'm trying to decide on a name. So far I'm thinking Fruity, I was told he had pineapple color, but my husband doesn't like that name. He might not have a say in it.

My only problem with the new guy is he's kind of a rescue. He was in bad conditions at walmart and I couldn't leave him there. So I'm a little nervous about how he's going to do. I would hate to lose him, but I wanted to give him a better life regardless of how short it could be. I'm hoping after tonight, his first night here, he'll do very well. He looks pretty good for what he lived in at walmart. I posted pics of him in the betta pictures section if you're interested.

Anyway even though I've had Angus for almost a year I'm still very new to the betta world. I've been lucky that Angus hasn't given me any trouble so it's been smooth sailing.

Chances are all your rescued betta needs is warm clean water and good food and he will probably perk up soon!

Hi and thanks for the reply! Other than not eating he seems to be doing well. I think he's going to give me grey hairs worrying about him!
